Heat Buffer Glass (Sub-Dome Installation)
Woodroffe Heat Buffer Glass is a high-performance glazing option designed to be installed
beneath an acrylic dome in our skylight systems. Acting as a secondary internal barrier, it enhances insulation and reduces heat transfer while maintaining excellent natural light transmission.
Key Features:
- Installed underneath the acrylic dome as a thermal buffer layer.
- Made from double-glazed safety glass for superior insulation.
- Low-E (Low Emissivity) coating helps reflect radiant heat, improving indoor temperature control.
- Reduces UV penetration, protecting interiors from fading and heat damage.
- Improves energy efficiency with a U-value as low as 2.8.
- Compatible with all standard Woodroffe skylight systems, including Flexi-Duct and Suntube kits.
- Ideal for hot climates or energy-conscious homes and buildings
