5. Orders
An order is not accepted until confirmed by Woodroffe Skylights.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where:
- Products are unavailable;
- Pricing errors occur;
- Information provided is inaccurate;
- Payment has not been received.
6. Custom-Made Products
Many products supplied by Woodroffe Skylights are custom manufactured to suit individual customer requirements.
Custom-made products include, but are not limited to:
- Skylight flashings;
- Roof window flashings;
- Special-order skylights;
- Made-to-order roof access products;
- Custom fabricated metalwork.
Once manufacturing has commenced, custom-made products cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all measurements, specifications, roof profiles, colours, and product selections are correct before placing an order.
7. Pricing
All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices may change without notice.
Unless otherwise stated, prices include GST where applicable.
Freight, installation, crane hire, scaffolding, permits, and other site-specific costs may be charged separately.
8. Payment Terms
Payment terms may vary depending on the products or services supplied.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Retail purchases must be paid in full before collection or dispatch.
- Installation projects may require a deposit prior to commencement.
- Final payment is due upon completion of works.
Ownership of goods remains with Woodroffe Skylights until full payment has been received.
9. Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only.
Woodroffe Skylights is not liable for delays caused by:
- Manufacturers;
- Freight providers;
- Supply chain disruptions;
- Weather events;
- Industrial action;
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.
Customers should inspect goods immediately upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 48 hours.
10. Installation Services
Where installation services are provided:
- Safe site access must be available;
- The customer must disclose any known site hazards;
- Additional charges may apply where unforeseen conditions are encountered.
Installation dates are estimates only and may be affected by weather or site conditions.
11. Warranties
Woodroffe Skylights provides warranties in accordance with manufacturer warranties and Australian Consumer Law.
Products supplied by third-party manufacturers, including Velux, Kimberley, Ampelite, and Illume, are covered by their respective warranty policies.
Warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment.
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Improper installation by others;
- Misuse or neglect;
- Unauthorised modifications;
- Accidental damage;
- Normal wear and tear;
- Failure to follow maintenance instructions.
12. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Consumers are entitled to certain guarantees relating to goods and services that cannot be excluded by law.
Where a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy as provided under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodroffe Skylights shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or economic loss arising from the use of our products, services, or website.
Our liability is limited to the remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
